The Grim was a Real Life Superhero in San Diego, California. He is founder of X-Faction and a former member of the Xtreme Justice League. He appears to be inactive.
History
"A thirty-something year old, San Diego native, I have seen my city go through many changes. Growing up in San Diego, I have been mugged at gun point twice, almost robbed at knife point once. Shortly after I returned from my 6 years in the Navy, my house had been broken into, and my car stolen. I knew something had to be done and a change needed to be made. In 2011, I was shown a magazine article of Mr. Xtreme. I contacted the group and joined the XJL in the summer of 2011. Now leading patrols as The Grim, helping with outreach and community improvement programs is the life for me." - The Grim[1]
Having been the XJL's Director of Operations for some time, on October 12, 2017, Grim announced that he would be stepping down from that position - but not from the XJL - by the end of 2017.[2]
On July 23rd, 2020, the Xtreme Justice League page announced that he was retiring from the group.[3] However, on August 21st, 2020, he explained "... I'm FAR from retired."[4]
His activist work continues with X-Faction.
