The California Initiative: Oakland-East Bay is a group of Real Life Superheroes based in Oakland, California. They are part of a coalition of similarly-named teams called The Initiative Collective.

History

NightBug and Rock N Roll co-founded the California Initiative: East Bay on June 11, 2017 (though the announcement was not made until August). It was the third branch of the Initiative to be founded in California.

After the formation of the Oakland branch, Aaron Almanza (aka Shadarko) took over leadership of the SF branch, while NightBug and Rock N Roll assumed responsibility for the Oakland branch. Both still work closely together.
