The story of Iron Head
"So, here I am. I figured I would write a little backstory about myself to let you know more about who I am. As a civilian, I LOVE heavy metal music. It's something I eat, sleep and breathe and live. I've been to over 100 concerts and it just keeps adding up. That is the motif I came up with after many months on deciding what motif I would have when I picked up the RLSH lifestyle. I went through many ideas for a theme. A zombie, a roman warrior, an army general, and even a real version of Spider-man Noir. By and by, the metalhead theme just fit me the best. The persona was inspired by many things. Eddie Riggs the main character from the video game Brutal Legend, Rob Halford the singer of Judas Priest, and a touch of Ghost Rider. My name comes from the Rob Zombie song "Iron Head." I have been seriously pondering the idea of becoming a RLSH for about 2 years. Then when I discovered there is an actual community of them, I knew I wasn't the only one who was crazy enough to do so. I started my workout regimen once again, started eating better and getting into shape. I also became acquainted with many RLSH that I found all over Facebook. I started asking them questions regarding the RLSH life and how to prepare. All of them gave me perfect answers that really had me thinking strongly. When I heard about the BMS society, I knew it was essential to my cause to find them and go on a patrol. I became friends with Red Voltage, Professor Midnight and Insignis. I talked with Red Voltage a lot. He is a very friendly guy in and out of outfit. I asked him how to join and I eventually went on my first patrol with him. It was very quiet and my outfit wasn't 100% ready but it did the job. It was a very uneventful night as far as crime went. People everywhere though would stop and talk to us. We talked to a lot of homeless people to try and brighten their spirits. It was a fantastic night. One I won't soon forget. Ever since that night, I KNEW I had to take up this mantle and help my city for the better. I'm still very new but I know I will grow with experience and I look forward to that and making a difference every day."[2]
