The Maryland Defenders are a group of Real Life Superheroes.

We are an alliance of heroes, doing our part to help make the world a better place for all living creatures. Our primary focus is on animal rights, promoting responsible pet ownership, and conservation of the environment. We do this by being active in our community - volunteering, fund raising, educating.

The Maryland Defenders was began by members of The SkiffyTown League of Heroes, a not-for-profit organization. Skiffytown is spread across the United States with regional hero affiliations active within their own communities.[1]
