Peaceman is an American Real Life Superhero whose alter ego is Ivan Wilzig, a billionaire philanthropist who was referred to by Stan Lee as the "Real Life Bruce Wayne." Peaceman was conceived of as the face of Ivan Wilzig's non-profit organization, the Peaceman Foundation. He has also released a music album titled, "I Am Peaceman." [citation needed]
History
Mr. Mitzvah
Peaceman attempted to make an appearance on Stan Lee's Who Wants to be a Superhero? But he was too late in auditioning for the first season in 2006. When he was chosen to appear in the second season in 2007, Peaceman was informed that the trademarks for all superhero characters appearing in the show would belong to NBC and SyFy. Refusing to lose the ability to appear as Peaceman to promote the causes he wished to, Ivan Wilzig conceived of an alternate identity of Mr. Mitzvah, based off his Jewish heritage.[citation needed]
