The Virginia Initiative (VAI) was a group of Real life superheroes based in Norfolk, Virginia.[1] It was a branch of the Initiative Collective. It is currently inactive.
History
The VAI was the second established branch of the Initiative, founded in June 2011.[2] Originally co-founded by Deaths Head Moth and Ira Ui'Raghallaigh, the mission of the group, as stated in their word, was:
"We are individuals organized towards achieving peacekeeping objectives and humanitarian missions. This will translate into a variety of non-monetary services as unfolding events demand. Our primary goal will always be to help those in the most need to the highest ethical standard and to the maximum effect."
