From Instagram: Community superhero shoutout: @greensneakersmedia is doing incredible work here in Winston-Salem, using the medium of documentary filmmaking to spread awareness of the effects of bullying, one person's recovery after leaving a cult, and many other important topics. Jack Pennington is a skilled and empathetic filmmaker, and I was so impressed by his work that it was an easy yes when he asked me to come over and shoot a doc with him. He's such a warm, kind person, and his work definitely reflects that. Can't say enough good things about today's shoot. Please check out some of the work he's done on YouTube at "Tell Stories, Change the World." I can promise you'll be better for it. January 30 2020
