Knight Owl is a Real Life Superhero in Portland, Oregon.
History
Knight Owl became an RLSH in 2007[1]. He provided this statement for the reasoning behind why he became a RLSH:
While I may wear a super-heroic logo and uniform, I do not consider myself a hero; just a guy doing his part to hold the line in a world gone mad. Spandex is not required to make a difference in the world; only a can-do attitude and an elevated capacity to be persecuted by the people who want to tell you that you're wasting your time. I think there are plenty of genuine heroes out in the world that we need to remember to lift up.[2]
Knight Owl was previously a firefighter with experience in Iraq, although he was not a soldier there. He has received EMT training and is a certified paramedic. In 2012, he was featured in the french documentary "Deviens Un Super Heros Pour De Vrai". [3]
KO was a participant (sans gimmick) in Portland HOPE 2018.
