Batman of San Jose started operating sometime in June of 2019. He provides essential goods and support to the unhoused residents of downtown San Jose.[1][2]. On July 24th 2020, he received a certificate of commendation from San Jose mayor Sam Liccardo. Later that year, he began attending college in Rochester, New York; causing him to expand his outreach efforts to that area as well.
He was a featured speaker at Silicon Valley Comic Con 2022.[3] On January 1st, 2023, he worked with Crimson Fist to provide relief during intense floods in the Bay Area. This lead to the formation of BASH (Bay Area Superheroes).
