The Beacon is a Real Life SuperHero in Champaign, Illinois. He is currently inactive.[1]
History
After being framed for an arson[2] he didn't commit in Havana, Illinois and then his record cleared, he took up the moniker "NightLight" in 2017 shortly after a family friend died from a heroin overdose. In 2018, he took a 6-month hiatus and came back as The Beacon.
In November of 2019, he started The Illuminated Life Foundation to help not just his community, but many others.
In November of 2020 it was announced that The Beacon was officially a member of the Illinois Initiative.[3]
