The Challengers started after the first meeting between long-time RLSH The Watchman and Blackbird in February of 2010. In 2011 others joined the group; Crimson Crusader, Electron and Charade. Writer Tea Krulos and the Great Lakes Alliance's Geist have been frequent collaborators as well. In 2012 Night Vision joined the group.
