Temper is a Real Life Superhero operating in Seattle, Washington. She is branch leader of the Washington Initiative, a branch of The Initiative Collective.
History
Krystal joined the Washington Initiative in late 2012.[1] She later assumed full leadership responsibilities when Drop left the group in June of 2014.
According to her, Temper's name is a combination of her own tendency to be quick to anger, and the idea of tempering hot and cold to make something stronger. [2] She has worked with several other Seattle-based RLSH, notably ECHO and RCSM, as well as the Real Life Supervillains of SECTOR III[3].
Krystal married James Marx, aka Evocatus, on June 13, 2015[4], in a ceremony performed by fellow Initiative member, Rock N Roll. In 2018, she was elected to the city council of Burien, Washington; later becoming Deputy Mayor of the city in 2019.
In 2022, she was featured in the podcast Superhero Complex, which highlighted the Seattle superhero community.
